What do I need to install CILe on my computer the first time? How do I do it?
(Current CILe users, go here for upgrade instructions.)
Currently, CILe only works (as far as I know) on Windows XP and Vista. Vista users please go here for important information regarding running CILe, otherwise it won't work.

What do I have when I do that? It's asking me for a registration number?
You have the trial version. It is exactly like the full version in every respect, except you can only add five clients to the database. Other than that, it is complete, including the ability to submit claims electronically. If you only have five clients, you have all you need and you don't need to pay me a thing. If, after you've tried it out, you want to purchase a license for unlimited clients, go here and click the "Buy" button at the bottom of the page and you will be transferred to the PayPal site to pay for the license. The cost is listed on that page. Please e-mail me before you submit your payment to make sure I am immediately available to send you the registration number. Once I receive the notification from Paypal that the payment is complete, I will e-mail you the registration number to unlock it.
I'm already a CILe user and it's installed on my computer. How do I upgrade to the new version?
CILe is actually made up of two parts: The CILe software (the part I wrote) and the Microsoft Access 2007 Runtime. The Runtime is a fairly sizeable program Microsoft wrote so you can run an Access 2007 program on your computer without having to purchase Microsoft Access 2007 itself. When you download CILe the first time, it comes with it. Once you have installed CILe the first time, you don't need to do that again. That's why the Upgrade package is so much smaller than the "New Installation" package. You're not downloading the Microsoft Runtime, too.
However, that's really just boring information, and doesn't change much from your end except the download time.
There's really only two steps you need to take that the "New Installation" people don't: You need to do a backup of your database, and you need to uninstall the current installation of CILe.
