Can CILe help me with my total income for tax returns?

Yes. Here's how:

You can either select Income Report Summary" or "Income Report Detail" off of the Fiscal menu, or click the "Info" button next to their name. CILe will ask you for the year to be reported.

The above report is the summary report. The detail report shows a daily accounting on income, divided up by month. The above report is for calendar year 2007, but you will notice that the first few months are in the year 2006. The reason for this is because insurance checks can come in far behind the actual session it is paying for, and so the income must be reported in the year in which it was actually received rather than the year of the session. However, CILe tracks insurance payments by the session note it is paying for, so will show up on this listing as being a 2006 payment, rather than the 2007 payment that it actually is. The column to the right on the detail report shows when the check was actually received so you can keep it straight.
