This page allows you to download a fully-functioning version of CILe with all of the capabilities demonstrated in the Help System. You can download it as either a fully licensed version or a trial version from this same page.

What is in the Trial Copy?

The Trial copy of CILe allows all, unlimited functionality as with the full version of CILe, but limits the database to five clients. The Phone Message system is totally unlimited. If you are already running a registered version, you will still be registered with all of your data intact after you install the latest version.

The Installation file below, which includes everything you need to run an Access 2007 application on your computer, takes approximately 12 minutes to download at high-speed, cable-type connection. Pretty much everything else will be somewhat slower. Save it to your desktop for easy deletion after installation, or to your Downloads folder if you'd rather save it for some reason.

Which version should I download? If you already have CILe installed, or if you already have Microsoft Access 2007 installed, you can download the smaller one. If this is your first installation of CILe and you don't have Microsoft Access 2007, then you will need the version with the Runtime. This is not related to whether or not you have a registered or unregistered version. If you don't have a clue, then you can download the larger one, and even if you don't really need it, it won't hurt anything, but you will likely get a strange message telling you that you the installation failed because it was already installed. What that means is that the installation of the Microsoft Runtime, which is a separate installation package from within the CILe installation package, didn't get installed because you already had it installed. They call it "failed," but in fact nothing actually failed. It simply didn't need to install the Runtime a second time. Just click the "OK" button and CILe should run fine.

Download CILe 3.1.4 - With Runtime (93 megabytes) Dated July 10, 2010 (For if you've never installed CILe before. This download will display an 'install failed' error message if you've already installed CILe or have the runtime for some other reason, but the error message is harmless. It just means that it couldn't install because you already have it. Just "Ok" through it and ignore it.)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS to install CILe:

After you have downloaded the above file, do the following:

1) Save the .exe file to your hard disk, somewhere where you'll know where it is. The desktop is a good idea.

2) Double-click on the downloaded file, which will be named either “CILe Setup Update.exe” or “CILe Setup New Install.exe” and follow the instructions for the installation.

3) Once you're done with the installation, go to your desktop and double-click the "Finish CILe Setup" icon (the installation routine will remind you to do this).

4) To run CILe, go back to your desktop and click the CILe icon. If this is a first-time installation, CILe will take you immediately to the form where you fill in your own personal information.

5) You may then go to the "Help" menu item on the upper right and click "CILe Help." Start at the top of the Help tree and learn where to go from there.
